Clay brick is made of clay (including shale, coal gangue and other powder) as the main raw material, through mud treatment, molding, drying and roasting. In the Spring and Autumn period, China successively created square and long shaped bricks, and the technology, production scale, quality and fancy varieties of bricks in the Qin and Han Dynasties had significant development, which was known as "Qin brick and Hantile". The size of ordinary brick is 240 mm ×115 mm ×53 mm, according to the size of compressive strength (Newton/square mm, N/mm2) is divided into MU30, MU25, MU20, MU15, MU10, MU7.5 these six strength grades. Clay brick local materials, cheap, durable, as well as fire, heat insulation, sound insulation, moisture absorption and other advantages, widely used in civil construction projects. Scrap brick can also be used as aggregate for concrete. In order to improve the disadvantages of small, heavy and heavy clay bricks, the direction of light weight, high strength, hollow and large block is developed. Lime sand brick is made of lime and quartz sand, sand or fine sandstone in appropriate proportion, which is ground fine, mixed with water, pressed by semi-dry method and maintained by autoclave. Fly ash brick with fly ash as the main raw material, mixed with coal gangue powder or clay cement materials, through batching, molding, drying and roasting, can make full use of industrial waste slag, fuel saving.
