The Description:
Refractory bricks usually contain 30-40% alumina, and their main raw material is usually combined with other materials. With the increase of alumina content, kiln bricks with alumina content of more than 80% can be obtained, and thermal insulation refractory brick is one of them. The thermal conductivity of firebrick is low and the heat storage coefficient is small. They can be used as a hot surface or as insulation for dense bricks. The range of thermal insulation refractory bricks ranges from 23 to 32 grades, which are widely used in flue insulation, hot blast stove, kiln backup insulation materials.

Classification of heat-insulating firebricks:
(1) High aluminum heat insulation light firebrick.
High aluminum insulated lightweight firebrick can be used to lay insulation layers and components, without strong erosion and corrosion to high-temperature molten materials. When in direct contact with the flame, the surface contact temperature of the high-aluminum heat-insulating firebrick should not be higher than 1350ºC.
(2) clay heat insulation light fire brick
It is a kind of thermal insulation firebrick made of refractory clay, the content is 30%~48%. Combustion plus characteristic method and foaming method are used in the production process. The product is made of fireclay, bleached beads, fireclay clinker, binder, sawdust and ingredients by stirring, forming, drying and firing.
(3) diatomite insulation light firebrick.
It is made of diatomaceous earth as the main raw material of heat insulation refractory products, with light weight, sound insulation effect is good, high compressive strength characteristics, mainly used for 900 degrees below the insulation layer, can be used as industrial kiln and other thermal equipment, heat pipe heat insulation material.
(4) floating bead brick.
It is a heat-insulating refractory product made of floating beads as the main raw material. Floating beads are hollow beads of aluminosilicate glass floating in the fly ash of thermal power plants. It has the characteristics of light body, thin wall, hollow, smooth surface, high temperature resistance, good heat insulation effect and so on. Using these excellent properties of floating beads, it is possible to produce lightweight, high-quality thermal insulation refractories with excellent thermal insulation properties. The floating bead brick can be produced by semi-dry method.
