The Description:
Al2O3 content of 15% ~ 30% aluminum silicate refractory products. The raw materials for the manufacture of semi-siliceous products are clay containing quartz impurities or primary kaolin, fireclay or kaolin tailings and pyrophyllite obtained during mineral processing
When siliceous clay is used as raw material, it is decided whether to add clinker according to the nature of the raw material and the conditions of use of the product. Siliceous clay is fired with very little shrinkage, and no clinker is added to bricks. In order to improve the performance of the product, 10% to 20% clinker is added to the ingredients, and the manufacturing method is similar to that of clay bricks.
Various raw materials through coarse crushing, medium crushing, fine crushing three crushing, into less than 3mm, 2mm, 0.5mm a variety of particles. There are different proportions of ingredients according to the properties of bricks. Generally choose pyrophyllite and light pyrophyllite particle material 80% ~ 90%, combined with the proportion of clay 20% ~ 10%, add pulp waste liquid and make mud in the pressure mixer, and then the mud should be trapped for more than 24 hours to form. Blank cracking should be avoided when forming.
The use of low stroke and high stroke friction brick press molding, generally choose nominal pressure 2600 ~ 3000kN brick press. Brick bricks are dried using a drying kang or tunnel dryer, the drying temperature is generally 90 ~ 300ºC, and non-fired bricks can be used after drying for 48h. The firing temperature of the fired brick is about 1200C. In the firing process at 600 ~ 800ºC stage, due to the exclusion of structural water, it should be slowly heated up.

Application:
The semi-silicon brick is stable in volume and has good slag resistance to acid slag. Therefore, it is widely used in coke oven, acid cubing furnace, metallurgical furnace flue, steel bucket, flow steel brick, iron water tank and so on. The use of semi-silicon bricks in the lining of steel drums is more durable than clay bricks, good integrity and no slag.
