The Description:
Chromium brick is a neutral brick, and the effect of acidic and alkaline refractory materials is very weak at high temperature, its load softening temperature and thermal shock resistance are lower than magnesium chromium brick. It is mainly used for the isolation layer of acidic and alkaline refractory materials at high temperatures, and is also used for the lining of nonferrous smelting furnaces, but it is not suitable for direct contact with hot metal and where the atmosphere changes frequently.
Chromium oxide bricks (hereinafter referred to as chromium bricks) were first used in non-ferrous metallurgy furnaces and gas slagging furnaces, and have excellent corrosion resistance to external steelmaking slag, non-ferrous smelting slag, coal gasification furnace slag and various glass liquids. In the past 10 years, this refractory material has begun to be applied in glass melting kilns, but only limited to dark bottle glass melting kilns or non-alkali glass fiber melting kilns, and mainly used in high temperature parts of glass melting kilns, such as the upper pool wall, small furnace, flow hole, feeding port, etc., because it can significantly extend the kiln age, so it has attracted widespread attention in the glass industry
