Fireclay Air-setting Refractory Mortar
The Description:
It is composed of refractory powder, binder and admixture. Almost all refractory raw materials can be made into powder used to prepare refractory mud. It is called ordinary refractory mud made of refractory clinker powder and plasticizing clay as binder and plasticizing agent. Its strength is low at room temperature, and it has high strength when forming ceramic bond at high temperature. Chemically bonded refractory mud with hydraulic, pneumatic or thermal binding material as a binder, which produces a certain chemical reaction and hardening before forming a ceramic binding temperature.
The particle size of refractory mud varies according to the requirements of use, and its limit particle size is generally less than 1mm, and some are less than 0.5mm or finer.
The selection of refractory mud material should be considered consistent with the material of refractory products of masonry. In addition to being used as a joint material, refractory mud can also be used as a protective coating of lining by smearing or spraying.
