The Description:
Corundum refractory brick is referred to as corundum brick, which is an aluminum-silicon refractory product with corundum as the main crystalline phase. Corundum brick has excellent high temperature mechanical properties, good erosion resistance and wear resistance.Corundum brick is divided into fused cast corundum brick, electric fused corundum refired brick, sintered corundum brick 3 kinds. Fused cast corundum brick is the industrial alumina and a small amount of soda ash and quartz powder in the arc furnace melting, then casting, annealing and other processes, and finally mechanical processing into the required shape and size. Fused corundum resintered brick is made of crushed fused corundum particles and fine powder, adding a small amount of clay and bonding agent, after full mixing and forming by brick press. Brick density 2.75~2.85g/cm3. The brick is baked at 1700~1800ºC.Corundum brick has a series of excellent properties, high mechanical strength, high hardness. In addition, it also has good wear resistance, oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance and electrical insulation properties.Corundum porous plug in the furnace refining such as VAD /VOD furnace application, can continuously blow argon 60~90min, molten steel temperature in 1700 ~1800ºC, service life is 1~4 times, the average corrosion rate is 8~13mm/ furnace times. Low silicon corundum brick is used in the second stage of the petrochemical ammonia reconversion furnace, which can be used all the year round under high temperature and high pressure strong reduction atmosphere above 1700ºC. The use of corundum large brick in the discharge tank of glass industry high-temperature tank kiln can extend the life. Burn in high temperature tunnel kilns into belts or in inverted flame kilns. Shuttle kiln can use more than 95% of A12O3 corundum brick as lining or combustion chamber lining. For the quality requirements of corundum bricks, from the analysis of key factors leading to damage, first of all, the SiO2 content in corundum products should be reduced, followed by good process measures to ensure a low high temperature creep rate. Whether corundum or mullite, its resistance to alkali vapor or alkali condensate erosion is not ideal. As long as there is a small amount of SiO2, 600~900ºC will form B-A1203, causing 6%~20% volume expansion and resulting in material damage.Corundum brick is made of pure fused white corundum, synthetic mullite, chromium oxide, etc., which is formed and sintered at high temperature. The product has dense structure, high compressive strength, high temperature resistance (21790ºC), good thermal shock stability, acid and alkaline gas erosion resistance, and is not affected by H2, CO and other reducing gases. High purity corundum products are widely used in oil or gas gasifier, ethylene gas furnace, ammonia decomposition furnace, carbon black reactor in chemical industry, high temperature kiln in refractory and ceramic industry; Chrome corundum products are used in the petrochemical industry of coal water slurry and petroleum coke pressurized gasifier backing, oil or gasifier work lining, chemical industry of carbon black reactor lining, refractory industry of high temperature furnace lining; Mullite corundum products are widely used in carbon black reactor, refractory materials, ceramics, electronics industry of high temperature furnace lining.
