The Description:
Light mullite castable is a new material with porous mullite as aggregate. The aggregate was synthesized at high temperature, the main crystal phase reached more than 70%, and the composition was uniform and stable. The binder is made of pure calcium aluminate cement or aluminate cement, and mixed with mullite powder, alumina powder, silicon powder, cyanite and other proportions.

Light mullite castable has the following characteristics:
1. Suitable for the lining of a variety of industrial kilns: light mullite castable can be used as the working lining or thermal insulation lining of industrial kilns, which can achieve high temperature and energy saving effect.
2. High strength, small unit weight: compared with ordinary low cement castable, lightweight mullite castable can reduce the structural weight by more than 30% when used, avoiding structural brick breakage, collapse and other safety hazards.
3. Excellent thermal insulation performance: lightweight mullite castable is made of high-quality porous mullite aggregate, and used with a variety of micro-powders and dispersants, with low thermal conductivity and good thermal insulation effect. Compared to ordinary castables, lightweight mullite castables can reduce furnace heat loss by 25% to 35%, resulting in fuel savings of about 10%.
4. Convenient construction: lightweight mullite castable can be cast on site as a whole, and can be made into various shapes of prefabricated parts for combined installation, simple and convenient construction.
