The description:
Sillimanite brick refers to the block cut from natural sillimanite ore or the firebrick made of sillimanite powder by combining method. Sillimanite ore is usually calcined to 1500ºC in a tunnel kiln to make its volume change reach a stable state. The clinker is pulverized and then used as fining material. The clinker is prepared into billet by adding appropriate plastic clay, which can be used to make refractory bricks. After drying, the bad body is fired at 1700ºC in the tunnel kiln to make mullite brick.

Sillimanite brick has the following characteristics:
1. Sillimanite mixed into refractory brick brick material, the improvement of refractory brick performance is beneficial, with the increase of sillimanite, the effect is more significant.
2 The content of Al2O3 in sillimanite is high, its refractory brick has no firing shrinkage, and the content of Al2O3 is low, its refractory brick firing shrinkage is large.
3. The addition of sillimanite has no effect on the porosity and bulk density of firebrick.
Application:
If the Al2O3 content in sillimanite is high, the load softening temperature of the firebrick made is also high, but the strength of the firebrick is low. Because of its high load softening temperature, good thermal stability, density resistance and slag resistance, sillimanite brick is suitable for various parts of industrial kilns in iron and steel, chemical, glass, ceramics and other industrial sectors, such as flue, combustion chamber, furnace door, furnace column, furnace wall and steel barrels, skateboards and so on.
