The Description:

The semi-silicon brick has a small expansion property, which is conducive to improving the integrity of masonry and weakening the erosion effect of slag on masonry. Another feature of it is that when the high-temperature slag is in contact with the surface of the brick, a layer of sleeve material with great viscosity is produced on the surface of the brick (the molten material with a high Si02 content formed by the action of the slag and the product, the thickness is 1 ~ 2mm), which blocks the porosity, prevents the slag from continuing to penetrate into the brick, forming a protective layer, thus improving the corrosion resistance of the brick.

The raw material storage of semi-silicon brick is large, the price is low, and it can replace the second and third grade clay brick, and the use range is wide. Because the semi-silicon brick has good resistance to acid slag, and has higher high-temperature structural strength and relatively stable volume.
The Feature:

The stability of the volume of semi-silicon brick at high temperature (slightly expanded) is conducive to improving the integrity of masonry and weakening the erosion effect of slag on masonry. When in contact with high temperature slag, a layer of viscous glaze substance is formed on the surface of the brick, blocking the pores and preventing the slag from penetrating into the brick, thus improving the anti-erosion ability of the brick; Moreover, the starting temperature of load deformation is higher; Therefore, in some cases, its service life is no less than that of ordinary clay bricks.

Application:

Semi-silicon brick is mainly used as the lining of steel drum and the refractory layer of casting steel system. In addition, it can also be used for hot furnace top, regenerator cell lattice brick, cupola lining, various kiln furnace bottom and flue and other parts.
