It is a trend of the development of resistant materials for ladle.Usually the refractory castable with Al2O3 content (mass fraction) greater than 90% is called corundum castable, followed by the phase of corundum, because corundum has a high melting point (2050ºC) and strong resistance to slag corrosion characteristics, so that corundum castable has a high refractance and good chemical stability.

2. Performance
The performance of Alumina-spinel refractory castable is as follows: The bulk density is 2.85 ~ 2.95g/cm3, the drying compressive strength is greater than 30MPa at 110ºC, the compressive strength after burning at 1400ºC is 35 ~ 60MPa, sometimes up to 100MPa, the line change after burning at 1400ºC is ±0.4%, and the load softening temperature of 4% deformation is greater than 1600ºC, sometimes up to 1700ºC.
Our total annual production capacity is about 100,000 tons of dense-shaped refractory product, and 100,000 tons of monolithic refractory product.
We have three tunnel kilns for silicon-aluminum dense bricks and one new plant for the monolithic refractory.
