High thermal stability, refractories above 1770ºC. Good slag resistance, used for laying the lining of electric steel furnace, glass furnace, cement rotary furnace, etc.
High load soft, low creep high alumina brick is a high-grade refractory made of super alumina, fused corundum and fused mullite as the main raw materials. A. Refractoriness
The refractoriness of high aluminum brick is higher than that of clay brick and semi-silicon brick, up to 1750~1790ºC, which is a high-grade refractory material. b, load softening temperature
Because the Al2O3 in high aluminum products is high, the impurity is less, the formation of fusible glass body is less, so the load softening temperature is higher than the clay brick, but because the mullite crystallization does not form a network organization, the load softening temperature is still not high as silicon brick. c, slag resistance
There are more Al2O3 in high aluminum bricks, close to neutral refractory materials, which can resist the erosion of acidic slag and alkaline slag, because it contains SiO2, so the ability of anti-alkaline slag is weaker than the ability of anti-acid slag.
Application:
Mainly used for laying blast furnace, hot blast furnace, electric furnace top, blast furnace, reverberatory furnace, rotary kiln lining. In addition, high alumina brick is also widely used as open hearth regenerative lattice brick, plug head for pouring system, water brick and so on. However, the price of high aluminum bricks is higher than that of clay bricks, so there is no need to use high aluminum bricks where clay bricks can meet the requirements.
