The Description:
Sillimanite is a kind of natural refractory mineral, which has the characteristics of low thermal expansion rate, corrosion resistance to metallurgical slag and various glass liquids, high temperature wear resistance and so on. Its physical and chemical properties are better than high aluminum bricks, refractoriness 1770 ~ 1830ºC, load softening starting point 1500 ~ 1650ºC. It is mainly used for forming the flow hole of glass tank kiln, furnace lining, furnace throat and ceramic industry kiln equipment. Refractory materials based on natural sillimanite also have these advantages. Therefore, sillimanite refractories are widely used in metallurgical, chemical and building materials industries.
