The description:
Castable refractories that can resist the erosion of alkali metal oxides (such as K20 and NaO) at medium and high temperatures are called alkali-resistant refractory castables. The composition of this castable is similar to that of ordinary calcium aluminate cement in that it is a mixture of alkali-resistant refractory aggregate and powder, binder and admixture. According to the different use environment and conditions, alkali refractory castables have light and heavy quality.

Alkali refractory castables are mainly used in places with alkali metal oxides and steam corrosion, such as the cement rotary kiln tail and kiln outside decomposition cyclone liner, roasting alumina rotary kiln tail liner, as well as iron and steel, nonferrous, glass and paper and other industries with alkali steam corrosion of industrial furnaces and their flue and chimney lining.
