The Description:
Silicon carbide brick is a refractory material made of SiC as the main raw material. Mohs hardness 9. More stable for acidic slag. SiC 72%~99%. It is divided into clay bonded, Si3N4 bonded, Sialon bonded, β-SiC bonded, Si2ON2 bonded and recrystallized silicon carbide bricks. Mainly used for non-ferrous metallurgy retort, casting aluminum mold, electric furnace lining and heat exchanger.
Refractory products made of silicon carbide as the main raw material. Silicon carbide content 72%~99%. Generally, black silicon carbide (SiC content above 96%) is used as raw material, and the binder is added (or without the binder), which is prepared by the process of batching, mixing, molding and firing. The main crystalline phase is silicon carbide. The main varieties are oxide bonded silicon carbide brick, carbon bonded silicon carbide brick, nitride bonded silicon carbide brick, self-bonded silicon carbide brick, recrystallized silicon carbide brick and semi-silicon carbide brick. It has the characteristics of good wear resistance, good corrosion resistance, high temperature strength, good thermal shock stability, high thermal conductivity, small thermal expansion coefficient, etc. It is a high-performance refractory material.
