The Description:
High strength and low cement castable refers to castable with cement addition of 3-8% and CaO content generally between 1-3%. The content of traditional ordinary refractory castable cement is as high as 10-30%, while the matrix of low cement and ultra-low cement is prepared by replacing part or most of the cement with ultrafine powder (particle size less than 5um) with the same or similar chemical composition as the main material of the castable, and adding a trace of dispersant (water reducing agent) and a certain amount of delayed retarding agent.

The feature
1, Improve refractoriness and high temperature strength
Due to the low CaO content in low cement castable, the formation of low eutectic phase in the material can be reduced, thus improving the refractoriness, high temperature strength and slag erosion resistance, especially the performance of cement-free castable is better.
2, Low porosity, high volume density
The mixing water consumption used in the construction of low cement castable is only 1/2 to 1/3 of that of ordinary low cement castable (about 4% to 6%), so the porosity is low and the volume density is high.
3, The generated cement hydrate is less
After forming and curing, the cement hydrate generated by low cement castable is little or even none, and there is no phenomenon that the middle temperature strength decreases due to the failure of a large number of hydration bonds during heating and baking. Low cement castable will gradually sintering with the increase of heat treatment temperature, and the strength will gradually increase.
4, Improve the stability of the lining structure
The low cement castable synthesizes the characteristics of traditional refractory materials, and adopts the application technology of ultrafine powder to improve the medium temperature strength and high temperature volume stability of castable, so that the organizational structure of the product forms a solid anchor head multidirectional crystal structure at high temperature, ensuring the stability of the overall structure of the lining, and the service life can be increased by 3 times than that of the traditional castable.
