The Description:

The main crystalline phase of magnesia brick is magnesite, which has the typical characteristics of general alkaline refractory products, but the thermal shock resistance is poor.
Magnesia brick is divided into fired magnesia brick and non-fired magnesia brick. The fired magnesia brick can be divided into silicate bonded magnesia brick, direct bonded magnesia brick and rebonded magnesia brick. Non-fired magnesia brick is divided into chemical bonded magnesia brick, asphalt bonded magnesia brick.

The brick with the features as follow:
1.excellentthoughness at high temperature,the spalling damage is not easy to happen during during drying kiln and using;
2.Excellent coat formed in buring zone,and normal coat damage does not spall;
3.Excellent strength and thermal shock resistance;
4.With stable dimension,can meet the requirement of installation in project;
5.Free of chrome,a kind of product without environmental pollution,being applied in buring zone.

Physical feature:
The refractoriness of magnesia brick can reach more than 2000ºC, and its load softening temperature varies greatly with the melting point of cement phase and the amount of liquid phase produced at high temperature. Generally, the load-softening starting temperature of magnesium bricks is between 1520 and 1600 ° C, while high-purity magnesium bricks can reach 1800 ° C. There is little difference between the load softening starting temperature and the collapse temperature of magnesia brick. The linear expansion rate of magnesium brick at 20~1000ºC is generally 1.2%~1.4%, and is approximately linear. When there is liquid phase in the brick at high temperature, it will suddenly shrink. The thermal conductivity of magnesium brick is high, second only to carbon brick and silicon carbide brick in refractory products, and it decreases with the increase of temperature. The thermal shock resistance of magnesia brick is poor. Improving the purity of magnesia brick can improve the thermal shock resistance appropriately. The ability of magnesium brick to resist acid slag is very poor, and it can not be directly in contact with silicon brick when used, and it is generally separated by neutral brick. The conductivity of magnesium brick at room temperature is very low, but it can not be ignored at high temperature (such as 1500ºC), if used in the bottom of the electric furnace.
