The Description:
Refractory mortar is an amorphous refractory material used for refractory masonry joints. It is composed of refractory powder, binder and admixture with a certain proportion of particles, and is adjusted into slurry by adding water or liquid binder. According to the setting and hardening characteristics of its binder, the refractory mud can be divided into hydraulic, thermal and pneumatic refractory mud. Hydraulic refractory mud is cement as a bond, can be used at room temperature or may be in frequent contact with water or moisture. Hot-set refractory mud is commonly made of hot-set binder such as phosphate or phosphate, which has high strength in addition to various temperatures after hardening, and has the characteristics of shrinkage, tight joints and strong erosion resistance. Air-set refractory mud is commonly prepared with air-set binder such as sodium silicate, which can make the masonry joints tight.
