Product feature:
Lightweight refractory, also known as thermal insulation refractory, is a kind of refractory with high porosity, small volume density and low thermal conductivity. According to the bulk density of light bricks (bulk density 0.6 ~ 1.3g/cm). According to the use of temperature, low temperature insulation materials (600 ~ 900ºC), medium temperature insulation materials (900 ~ 1200ºC) and high temperature insulation materials (>1200ºC). According to the shape of the product, it is divided into stereotyped light refractories and non-stereotyped light refractories. According to the material divided into clay, high aluminum, mullite and so on. The methods for preparing light refractories include combustible addition method, foam method, chemical method and porous material method. The use of light refractories can save fuel, improve thermal efficiency, reduce ambient temperature, reduce furnace weight and improve working environment. Due to the large porosity, low strength and poor slag resistance, it is not suitable for load-bearing structures and parts in contact with molten liquid or high-speed air flow through, mainly used as thermal insulation and insulation materials for thermal equipment.
