The Description:
Silica brick for hot blast stove (silica brick for hot blast stove) is used to lay silica refractory products with squamous quartz as the main crystalline phase in the high temperature part of the hot blast furnace. The hot air temperature of the blast furnace has increased from 500-650 ° C in the 1940s to 1000 ° C in the 1970s, and the hot air of the large blast furnace in the 1980s has increased to 1350 ° C. Due to the increase of wind temperature, the clay brick or high aluminum brick used in the high temperature part of the previous hot blast stove has been gradually replaced by silicon brick and low creep high aluminum brick.

The Application:
Carbonization chamber furnace wall temperature 500-1100ºC. A large temperature difference will produce thermal stress, resulting in cracks in the lining of firebricks. Because the site is subjected to fuel pressure, mechanical wear and impact, as well as erosion and deposition consumption, this site is laid with dense special-shaped silicon bricks.
The silicon brick of hot blast furnace has the following characteristics:
(1) Under the conditions of long-term high temperature and load, the volume is stable, the high temperature creep rate is low, and one or even two blast furnaces can be used continuously.
(2) It has good thermal shock resistance above 600ºC. Adapt to the temperature variability of hot blast furnace, so that the brick and masonry remain intact.
(3) Chemical erosion resistance is better than clay bricks and general high aluminum bricks. The erosion of the silicon brick by the alkaline substances in the gas and dust is limited to the formation of a glass phase on the surface, and does not occur spalling.
(4) The thermal conductivity of silicon bricks is larger than that of clay bricks and high aluminum bricks, which is conducive to storing and releasing heat in a short time.
The shape of the product should be regular, the size deviation is small, the aperture difference of the lattice brick is ±1mm, and the brick used in other parts is not more than ±1%. If the combination brick is used in the joint of the upper pipe of the external combustion hot blast stove, it needs to be cut and ground and pre-assembled before laying. The surface crack width should not be greater than 0.5mm, and there should be a length limit side. Cracks of less than 0.1mm width do not affect the use, and there should be no cracks caused by improper cooling.
