The Description:
Thermal insulation refractory products made of zirconia hollow balls as the main raw material. (The main crystalline phase of this brick is cubic zirconia (about 70% to 80% of the mineral phase composition), the fire resistance is greater than 2400ºC, the apparent porosity is 55% to 60%, the bulk density is 2.5 to 3.0 g/cm3, the compressive strength is not less than 4.9 MPa, and the thermal conductivity is 0.23 to 0.35 w/(m·K). The production method of zirconia hollow ball brick is the same as the production method of alumina hollow ball, but its melting temperature is higher, to reach more than 2700ºC, CaO is widely used as a stabilizer in China.

Zirconia has high temperature resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, wear resistance, and high thermal expansion coefficient, and stable zirconia has become an important material that cannot be ignored in the refractory industry and special ceramics field
1) Stabilized zirconia made of foam ceramics can be used for the filtration of superalloys, foam ceramics applied to the filtration of molten steel continuous casting and achieved good purification effect.
2) Due to the high hardness of stable zirconia, it can be made into cold forming tools, shaping dies, drawing dies, cutting tools, grinding media, fish knives, scissors, golf clubs and so on.
3) Stable zirconia has high strength and good toughness, so it can be used to manufacture engine components, such as push rods, connecting rods, bearing cylinder liners, piston caps and so on.
4) Stable zirconia, with semiconductor and sensitive properties, can be made into high temperature fuel cell solid electrolyte diaphragm.
