The Characteristic:
(1) The load softening temperature is high, the coke oven silicon brick can withstand the dynamic load of the coal truck on the top of the furnace at high temperature, and can be used for a long time without deformation;
(2) High thermal conductivity. Coke is made of coke coal in the carbonization chamber by conduction heating of the wall of the combustion chamber, so the silicon brick masonry of the combustion chamber wall should have a high thermal conductivity. Within the temperature range of the coke oven combustion chamber. The thermal conductivity of silicon brick is higher than that of clay brick and high aluminum brick. The thermal conductivity of compact coke oven silicon brick is 10%~20% higher than that of ordinary coke oven silicon brick.
(3) Good thermal shock resistance at high temperatures. Due to the periodic loading and discharging of coke oven, the temperature of silicon brick on both sides of combustor wall changes dramatically. The temperature fluctuation range of normal operation will not cause serious cracks and spalling of silicon bricks, because above 600ºC, coke oven silicon bricks have good thermal shock resistance;
(4) High temperature volume stability. In the silicon brick with good crystal transformation, the residual quartz is less than 1%, and the expansion is concentrated before 600ºC when heated, and then the expansion slows down significantly. In the normal operation of the coke oven, the temperature does not drop below 600ºC, the change of the masonry will not be large, and the stability and tightness of the masonry can be maintained for a long time.
