Fused α-β AL2O3 Refractory Brick for Glass Kiln Work Tank
The Description:
The main component is Al2O3 (containing 94.5% to 96.5%), and the crystalline phase structure is composed of 45%-55% α-AL2O3 phase and 45%-60% β-alumina phase.

 

Due to a large amount of β-AL2O3 interwoven between α-AL2O3 crystals, the tubular microstructure of the original α-AL2O3 becomes a scale-like structure, and the β-AL2O3 crystal is much smaller than when it exists alone, and the overall structure is very tight. Therefore, its corrosion resistance becomes only slightly worse than α-AL2O3, and the heat resistance of the brick is greatly improved.

 

Casting α-AL2O3 products have a bulk weight of 3.15-3.30g/cm3, contain a small amount of glass phase (about 2%), fill the pores between crystals, and have high purity. Because it does not pollute the glass liquid, and has good resistance to glass liquid erosion and excellent high temperature wear resistance below 1350ºC, it is the ideal refractory material for the clarification part, the cooling part, the working pool and other parts of the glass melting kiln.

The refractoriness of fused bricks is higher than that of clay bricks and semi-silicon bricks, up to 1750-1790°C, which is a high-grade refractory material.

Fused zirconium corundum brick has high zirconium content, less impurity mass, and the load softening temperature of zirconium corundum products is generally above 1600 degrees.
