Product feature:

Low density: The density of lightweight mullite castables is usually between 0.5-1.5g/cm³, which is lighter than traditional refractories. This allows it to form a lighter load inside the heating furnace, reducing the pressure on the heating furnace structure.

 

Low thermal conductivity: The thermal conductivity of lightweight mullite castable is very low, which can effectively reduce heat conduction. This helps to improve the thermal efficiency of the heating furnace and reduce energy consumption.

 

Excellent high temperature resistance: Light mullite castable can withstand high temperature environment, its fire temperature can reach 1600ºC or more. This gives it excellent performance and long life in high temperature heating furnaces.

 

Low coefficient of thermal expansion: Light mullite castable has a low coefficient of thermal expansion and excellent thermal stability. It can reduce the influence of thermal stress under high temperature conditions and delay the aging and fracture of materials.
