The Description:
Low cement castable is a castable with a CaO content between 1-3% and a cement addition of 3-8% called low cement castable. The cement content of ordinary refractory castable is as high as 10-30% or so, while ultra-low cement is prepared by replacing part of the cement with ultra-low cement with a chemical composition similar to that of ultra-low cement, and adding a trace amount of dispersant and delayed retarding agent.

Main characteristics:

1: The calcium oxide content of castable is lower than that of ordinary castable, and the low eutectic phase in the material is reduced, thus improving the fire resistance temperature, high temperature strength and slag resistance.

2: The hydration of cement after curing and molding is less, and there will be no large amount of hydration and destruction during heating and baking, which affects the use of temperature and other problems, and as the temperature gradually rises, the sintering strength also increases.

3: The water requirement of low cement castable is greatly reduced, so the porosity is low, the volume density is high, and the ordinary refractory casting of the same material is expected to require high temperature.

And for various types of castables have different uses: mullite castable can be used for high-temperature burner lining, heating water cooling pipe lining, etc., while clay high alumina castable is used for heating furnace, soaking furnace and other heat treatment furnace and rotary kiln lining.

Corundum castable and chrome corundum low cement castable can be used in some parts of the refining unit of molten steel furnace, power frequency induction furnace lining, high temperature wear-resistant lining of petrochemical catalytic cracking reactor, etc.
