The Feature:
In the process of heating into mullite, a good mullite network can be formed, and the volume expands by about 4%. This is an irreversible crystal conversion, once converted, it has higher fire resistance, refractoriness up to 1800ºC or more, and sudden cooling and heat resistance, mechanical strength, thermal impact resistance, slag resistance, high load conversion point, and has extremely high chemical stability and strong chemical corrosion resistance, andalusite refractory series is mainly used in the top cone of hot blast furnace.
