The Description:
Aluminum-magnesium spinel (magnesia-alumina spinel) refers to magnesium oxide and trialumina as raw materials, by artificial synthesis of spinel refractory raw materials. The raw material is rarely found in nature, and the industrial magnesia-aluminum spinel is all synthetic. Bauxite based sintered magnesia alumina spinel is made of high quality bauxite with Al2O3 content of more than 76% and high quality light burnt magnesia powder with MgO content of more than 95%, after multi-stage homogenization process, sintered at high temperature above 1800°C in ultra-high temperature tunnel kiln.

Performance characteristics of magnesia alumina spinel brick:
Good thermal shock stability. It can withstand water cooling 20 to 25 times, withstand air cooling more than 100 times, and even further away.
Low thermal stress. Because magnesia alumina spinel and cubic magnesia belong to the cubic crystal system, the thermal expansion size along the direction of each crystal axis is the same, so the expansion and contraction are relatively uniform when the temperature fluctuations.
The softening temperature under load is better than that of magnesium brick. It reaches 1650~1700ºC.
