Light weight insulation brick is a kind of thermal insulation material, which refers to the thermal insulation brick with high porosity, low volume density and low thermal conductivity. Lightweight insulation bricks are characterized by a porous structure (porosity is generally 40 to 85%) and high heat insulation.
2. What are the classification methods of light insulation bricks?
(1) Classification by volume density. The bulk density of 0.4 ~ 1.3g/cm3 is light insulation brick; Less than 0.4g/cm3 is an ultra-lightweight insulation brick.
(2) According to the use of temperature classification. Use temperature 600 ~ 900ºC for low temperature insulation materials; 900 ~ 1200ºC for medium temperature insulation materials; More than 1200ºC for high temperature insulation materials.
(3) Classification by product shape. One is the light insulation brick, including clay insulation brick, high aluminum insulation brick, silicon insulation brick and some pure oxide light insulation brick; The other is an amorphous lightweight insulation brick, such as lightweight insulation castable.
